#BlogTour Amelie by EJ Woods @e_j_woods

Today I am very excited to be helping close off the blog tour for EJ Woods book Amelie, which is published by question mark press.

About the Book

THEY MURDERED FAMILIES
THE FUHRER CANNOT PROTECT THEM NOW

It’s not wise to murder the family of a budding assassin. Created by Auschwitz, her skill is honed by revenge.

A very different type of serial killer is loose in 1950s Europe. In Britain, a Brotherhood of powerful men takes notice and enhances the expertise and artistry of a killer.

DCI John Owen was born to serve. Recruited by MI6, he tracks an accomplished executioner whose love of luxury and the arts is second only to the love of watching an early death come to those who truly deserve it.

Join the chase. Then ask yourself…
Can there ever be only one winner?

My Review

This is the first book of EJ Woods I have read and it was a really engrossing book which kept me hooked throughout.

The book starts off between the wars in Germany and progresses quickly into the second world war before moving to Auschwitz where a family are split up and our main character Amalie is forced to endure situations no one should have to.

From Auschwitz we move to the end of the war and follow the police as they investigate lots of war criminals being killed. Amalie is turning into a brilliant serial killer, focusing on the people who hurt her growing up and makes you want to see her succeed.

Overall the book is a brilliant story and kept me hooked throughout.
