This is book 3 in Tim and Cathy’s Charly series but you don’t need to have read the previous two first, I hadn’t and it didn’t take anything away from my enjoyment of the book.
This book follows Charly, a school girl, as she goes on a school trip to the European Space Agency and whilst there helps a sick astronaut and accidently ends up on the International Space Station for 6 months. Whilst on the ISS she has a couple of nice adventures.
The book is aimed at younger children and is really well written. I enjoyed the character of Charly and, once you suspend reality and how things work, I really liked the fact that she can accidently end up in space and have a great time there.
Overall Tim and Cathy make a great team and I can’t wait to go back and read books 1 and 2.
