Today I am very pleased to be on the blog tour for The Bloodline Will by AB Morgan. Thanks to Sarah for asking me to be involved in the tour.
About the Book
Sometimes family trees have to die.
He made a mistake, and for the sake of his career investigative TV reporter Konrad Neale is forced to apologise, in person, to Ella Fitzwilliam.
Detained under section in a secure forensic unit, she doesn’t foresee a bright future. And she despises Konrad for exploiting her and exaggerating the truth about what she really did.
All in the name of journalism.
However, when he spots famous recluse Abigail Nithercott in the same mental health facility, he cannot resist the chance to scoop the next big story. But he must use Ella to uncover the dark secret of the Nithercott family.
Deceit is in their blood.
Thicker than water, it spills…
This is the second book by Alison so was looking forward to reading this one.
Even though this is book two in the series it can be read as a standalone, as I did.
The book is a dark and twisted tale with enough funny moments to stop it getting to dark and really enjoyable.
The book follows a journalist who has to go into a psychiatric hospital to apologise to a woman when he made a mistake. The woman in question hates him for what he did and for exaggerating her story.
Whilst there Konrad, the journalist, spies another woman who has an interesting story to tell but needs Ella’s help in finding it out and digging into her past.
With the story based solely in a psychiatric hospital it makes for an interesting read and you can tell by reading it that Alison has a very indpeth knowledge of such places as she used to work in one.
The story flows really well and keeps you engaged throughout, with enough bits of information at the right time to keep you reading and wanting to find out more.
Overall another great book by Alison, which has made me want to go back to read book 1.
