I am very pleased to have been asked to appear on the blog blitz for Abigail Osborne’s book The Puppet Master.
Thanks to Bloodhound Books and Sarah Hardy for asking me to be a part of this 4 day blitz.
The book was re-released today (13th November) by Bloodhound Books
Book Description:
Billie is hiding from the world in fear of a man who nearly destroyed her. But a chance meeting with budding journalist, Adam, sparks a relationship that could free her from her life of isolation and fear.
Unbeknown to Billie, Adam knows exactly who Billie is and is determined to expose her and get justice for the lives he believes she has ruined. But first, he needs to convince her to open up to him. As an unwanted attraction blossoms between them, Adam comes to realise that all is not as it seems.
Who is really pulling the strings? And are Adam and Billie both being played?
One thing is for sure, The Master wants his puppets back – and he’ll do anything to keep them.
My Review
I was asked to review this book back in July when Abigail had self-published it, and then when Abigail signed with Bloodhound Books I jumped at the chance to appear on the Blog Blitz as the book is brilliant.
When I was first asked to read the book the description really sold it to me as it sounded an intriguing read and the fact that this is Abigail’s first book made it seem all the more interesting for me.
The book starts off brilliantly learning all about the main characters and finding out a bit about their lives both apart and together. I couldn’t put the book down once I started it, even though it is a very dark and disturbing book, dealing as it does with emotional abuse .
I really liked the way the story was split up between the present and the past and it made the story that much better, as at the beginning you a left guessing what happened and then half way through it all suddenly makes sense.
If you love psychological thrillers then you will absolutely love this book.
